About Lesbian Voices
Who Are We? Are We Really Lesbians?
We are lesbians who are passionate about making the world a better place. Ok so that sounds pretty goofy. Yet it is true. We believe that women are strong, that the people of the world can, and must change the direction in which we're heading. We believe that strong communities are made up of stong people. When the voices of women in general and lesbians in particular are heard, the world changes. It happens every day. Lesbian Voices exists to spur on and further catalyze that change.
Lesbian Voices will grow organically. By this we mean that Lesbian Voices will be what it is because lesbians from around the world will contribute and be a part of creating it's content. Our hope is that Lesbian Voices will be a place where we can dialogue about ourselves, explore our issues, share our wildest dreams. We will grow it together.
Sue Beckwith Hi! I believe in lesbian strength - yep - hokey as it sounds. I'm responsible for running the business and the site and am the primary driver behind our 2011 relaunch. I'm an out lesbian living with the love of my life. I've been out since 1980.
