Want To Buy A Bookstore?

Toronto's Glad Day Bookshop is up for sale. Glad Day is said to be the oldest gay and lesbian bookstore in the world.  According to this article in the Toronto Star, the owner John Scythes plans to seek friends and regular clients to purchase the well known shop.

Women in Technology International~ WITI or a Waste?

Finally Addressing Discrimination at USDA

Whether it's discrimination against farmers of color or women - whether it's discrimination in program funding, training or employment, the USDA United States Department of Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack has been accused of it all.  Many cases have been open for over 30 years and allowed to languish by past Administrations including both Bushes and Clinton.  US President Barack Obama instructed Secretary Vilsack to resolve these cases and end discrimination at USDA.
